What to expect from the upcoming Google Pixel 6
I didn’t get anything about the All-New Google Pixel 6 at the Google IO 2021. But that shouldn’t be a surprise given its usual launch window later in the year. Still, we’ve already learned a lot about Android 12, and it’s huge for fans eager for the Google Pixel 6. That’s because the phone will likely be the first device with the Android 12 operating system. Brand-new Android features will come to that phone before tricking non-Google handsets.
As for the Pixel 6, we’re starting to hear a lot of things about it, including spec leaks and renders. The picture so far is of a phone with a redesigned design of the Pixel 6 Pro.
Below we’ve put together all the leaks and rumors we’ve heard around the Google Pixel 6 so far. Expect to know more about the Google Pixel 6 as the months go by, and we’ll be updating this article, so check back regularly. Only the Pixel 6 release date rumored so far says to expect it in October. But it could be pushed to November if the chipset is lacking. This makes sense, as we’d expect the phone to arrive in late 2021 based on key Google trends.
Expected Price For The Google Pixel 6 Series
In terms of price, the Pixel 5 costs $699 / £599 / AU$999, so we might see a similar price tag again. That said, given that there are also rumors of a Pixel 6 Pro, we could see both a mid-range Pixel 6 and a high-end Pro model, with the latter probably costing a lot more than the Pixel 5. These are all expected prices of Pixel 6.
Brand New Design & color option
I’ve got a first look at the possible design of the Pixel 6, courtesy of unofficial renders based on a leaked image. You can see one of these below, and it’s a big change if done right. The renders show a camera block that runs across the rear width, jut out, and in a three-tone color scheme. As per rumors claims that there will be a champagne gold model and a white one as shown in the image below.
Brand New Google Pixel 6’s Display Options
They also say that there is an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and the back is made of glass. There’s a Google Pixel 6 Pro too – that’s exactly what the render below shows but in addition to the number of cameras and possibly color options, both natively Look the same in this leak.
Since that first glimpse at the design, another leaker has shared a second look at the Pixel 6 Pro. In unofficial renders that look similar to the one above – although the design is probably a bit more angular here. It can be a little bit. There are more details in the camera block. The source has also shared some details, which claims that the Google Pixel 6 Pro features a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display, and dimensions of 163.9 x 75.8 x 8.9mm.
Another case leak has also surfaced, showing the possible designs of both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. This more or less matches the leaks above, but the cases are shown here with the case for the 6.3-inch Pixel 4 XL, which has almost the same size as the Pixel 6.
We’ve heard that the color options may not quite match the colors seen in the renders so far. With another leaker saying that a peach, sand, and pink three-tone option and a green model with a silver and black color option. are supposed to. Rumors have also said that the Pixel 6 Pro will have a 120Hz QHD screen, while the Pixel 6 will have a smaller (presumably 6.4-inch) FHD flat screen.
Camera For New Google Pixel 6
It looks like the Pixel 6 is likely to feature a dual-lens rear camera, with the Pixel 6 Pro having a triple-lens camera. Additionally, a source claims that the Pro model will have both a ‘primary wide-angle camera’ and a ‘periscope telephoto camera’. They do not name the third sensor, but it is likely to be ultra-wide.
we’ve come to expect a 50MP main camera with a larger sensor than the Pixel 5. As well as an 8MP periscope snapper with 5x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide camera. Meanwhile, the Google Camera app reveals that the Pixel 6’s front-facing camera may support 4K video recording, Which is a higher resolution than most selfie cameras.
Full Expected Specifications
There could be two Pixel 6 models because ever since the Pixel 6 Pro news and photos surfaced. Two different codenames and model numbers associated with the Pixel 6 range have been mentioned in the Android 12 beta code. The second is likely an in-screen fingerprint scanner, something that Google hasn’t done with its smartphones before. A second Android 12 developer beta reveals more evidence of an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
Snapdragon 780G chipset can be used in Pixel 6. It has made its debut in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G, and it promises big performance improvements and better low-light photography compared to the chipset in the Pixel 5. It’s worth noting that this chipset isn’t specifically tied to the Pixel 6. But it is the successor to the Snapdragon 765G chipset in the Pixel 5, so it makes sense.
We will update you all with every detail about Google pixel 6. till then wait for our new post.
