Brands unveil their Designed For Xbox Series X monitors
Asus, Philips & Acer are among the first manufacturers to develop monitors designed for the Xbox Series X Monitor. The ‘Design for Xbox’ program is debuting a new fleet of 4K gaming monitors designed to make the most of the Xbox Series X’s powerful capabilities. Among which are 4K resolution, 120Hz gameplay, HDR, and variable refresh rate Huh.
Xbox’s official news center has confirmed that the Philips Momentum, a 55-inch 4K HDR monitor boasting 120Hz output, will be the first designed for the Xbox model to launch. The monitor is equipped with a soundbar and will feature AMD’s Free Sync technology that helps reduce screen tearing. The Philips Momentum will be released worldwide in August 2021 and will cost $1,599 / £1,199 (approximately AU$2,129).
The Asus Strix Xbox Edition 43-inch gaming monitor will be released in October 2021 (price to be announced) following the Philips Momentum, with the Acer Xbox Edition 28-inch gaming monitor scheduled for launch later in the year. for $949 (about £689 / AU$1,269). Both have similar features to the Philips Momentum, including 4K 120Hz output and AMD Free Sync support.
What are the Designs for X Monitor
It’s designed for these Xbox Series X monitor that features an HDMI 2.1 port and should work with AMD technology. That will be powering both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
